I'm Laura Little, a Confidence Mentor, and I help individuals and couples overcome low self-esteem, self-worth challenges, and attachment issues so you can:

Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Laura—a qualified psychotherapist with a deep understanding of how life’s challenges can shape who we are.

My early life was happy and carefree until, at nearly five years old, everything changed with the Lockerbie air disaster. Although I was too young to fully grasp it at the time, the emotional impact of that event stayed with me and influenced my journey in ways I only came to understand later.

From a young age, I learned to step out of my comfort zone. My first job at 13 was in a busy kitchen—a big shift for a shy, uncertain teenager. Later, I worked in a women-only gym, where I saw first-hand how many women lacked confidence in traditional fitness spaces. These experiences sparked a lifelong interest in creating safe, supportive environments for others.

I spent a decade working in the NHS across two roles, supporting patients and delivering group talks—both of which required me to grow in confidence and compassion. It was during this time that I realized how powerful human connection and emotional understanding truly are.

Training to become a psychotherapist was one of the hardest and most rewarding parts of my journey. It required me to look inward, challenge old beliefs, and heal. There were moments I almost gave up—but I’m so glad I didn’t. That process brought me to where I am today: grounded, present, and passionate about helping others navigate their own paths to healing.

Outside of work, I love animals, the outdoors, dancing, travel, fitness, and connecting with people. I believe in laughter, balance, and the power of small moments.

I am available for therapy sessions during the following hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Saturday: By appointment only

  • Sunday: Closed
